Our betting expert analyses the ante-post play-off markets to pick teams from the Championship, League One and League Two in a 20/1 treble
Jadon Sancho has had an up-and-down time in his three years at Manchester United and it remains unclear whether the winger has a long-term future at the club.
He spent much of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after reportedly falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag and, despite returning on better terms, rumours persist that he will move on.
There are a host of clubs interested in Sancho and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see one of them make a late bid for the Englishman while the transfer window is open.
Sancho’s rift with Ten Hag led to him returning to Dortmund last season and although it appears that he and the manager have finally sorted out their differences, the story may not end there.
The England winger failed to reproduce the form of his first spell at Dortmund when he moved from the German club to United in July 2021, and it’s probably fair to say he failed to match it again when he went back to Signal Iduna Park on loan last season.
He did stand out against PSG in the Champions League semi-finals and after United’s poor campaign, they could do with an in-form Sancho at their disposal, but his inconsistency remains an issue.
However, he’s still just 24 and has a lot of potential, so if Ten Hag can coax him back to his best he may establish himself as a useful attacking player for years to come.
We think the bookmakers may have under-priced Sancho staying at United for now, as he has still to acknowledge the club on his social media feed, but you can back him to remain below.

As mentioned, Sancho had one of his better games for Dortmund against PSG last season and the French club are in the market for forward players.
Kylian Mbappe has left for Real Madrid and the days are gone since Neymar and Lionel Messi were posing an attacking threat.
With Ousmane Dembele their only experienced out-and-out winger, PSG rely on youngsters such as Bradley Barcola and they could do with more wide players.
Sancho would add to their experience and has shown he can play abroad at a high level. It’s not known what sort of fee he would command but with Kylian Mbappe off the wage bill, there’s every chance that PSG could throw a bid in for Sancho.

Punters looking for a longer price may opt for Sancho to return to Borussia Dortmund, with the winger priced at 20/1 to join them for a third time.
He has a good record in the Bundesliga and has made himself a favourite with their fans in the famous Yellow Wall at Signal Iduna Park.
He was a key part of Dortmund’s Champions League run to the final last season and has also stated his thanks to the club for ‘believing in him’.
This is a key moment in Sancho’s career and he may decide that he wants to play football where he feels most comfortable. If that’s the case a return to Dortmund could be the smart move to make.
